Logging in
When you go to the site, you will be prompted to log in. On this page you will enter your username and password into the form then click the "Login" button or hit enter on your keyboard:
If you are not already logged into your account you can do so by clicking the link below:
First Time Logging In
The first time you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. Enter your new password into the form and click the "Change Password" button or hit enter on your keyboard:
Recovering Password
If you forget your password and need to recover it, click the "I need to recover my password" link on the login page to reset the password:
Fill in your email and click the "Recover Password" button or hit the enter button on your keyboard. You will receive an email with your username and password. Use this to log in like normal:
Changing Your Password
To change your password, while you are logged in click the change password button in the footer:
Enter your new password into the form and click the "Change Password" button or hit enter on your keyboard:
Accessing Your Boards
After you log in or visit the homepage, you will land on a page with a list of your boards. Click which board you want to access:
You can also access the boards through the navigation at the top of the page:
Creating a List
To create a list, while viewing a board click the input with the placeholder that say "Add List." Enter the name of the list then click the add icon or hit enter on your keyboard:
Creating a Card
To create a card, while viewing a board click the input with the placeholder that say "Add Card" in the desired list. Enter the title of the card then click the add icon or hit enter on your keyboard:
Sorting Cards and Lists
To sort a card or list, while viewing a board click and hold the right mouse button down while dragging the item to where you want it. Once you have the item where you want it, release the right mouse button:
Editing the Title of a List
To edit the title of at list, while viewing a board double click the title of a list, change the title, then click the save icon on the right of the input or hit enter on your keyboard:
Archiving a List
To archive a list, while viewing a board click the archive button on the right side of a list:
You will be prompted to confirm you want to archive the list. Click "OK":
Editing a Card
There are a few ways to edit a card. One method is to click the edit icon on the bottom right of the card which will open a menu to select what you want to edit. You can also open the card by clicking the icons in the bottom right corner and edit the fields from there. Double clicking a field that is already on the card will also open the form to edit it.
Editing Labels
To edit the labels on a card, while viewing a board click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Edit Labels" option:
This will open an area with all the label bubbles. Click on the desired label(s), and click the save icon or hit enter on your keyboard:
If the card already has labels, you can double click the label and it will open the same form as above:
Labels can also be edited by opening the card.
Editing the Status
To edit the status on a card, while viewing a board click the edit icon on the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Edit Status" option:
This will open an input field. Enter the status then click the save icon or hit enter on the keyboard:
If the card already has a status, you can double click the status and it will open the same form as above:
The status can also be edited by opening the card.
Editing Hours
To edit the hours on a card, while viewing a board click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Edit Hours" option:
This will open an input field. Enter the hours then click the save icon or hit the enter button on your keyboard:
If the card already has hours, you can double click the hours and it will open the same form as above:
Hours can also be edited by opening the card.
Editing the Title
To edit the title on a card, while viewing a board click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Edit Title" option:
This will open an input field. Enter the title then click the save icon or hit enter on your keyboard:
The card should always have a title, so you can double click the title and it will open the same form as above:
The title can also be edited by opening the card.
Editing the Due Date
To edit the due date on a card, while viewing a board click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Edit Date" option:
This will open an input field. Enter the due date by typing the date in or click the calendar on the right then click the save icon or hit enter on your keyboard:
If the card already has a due date, you can double click the due date and it will open the same form as above:
The due date can also be edited by opening the card.
Opening the Card and Editing All Values of the Card
To open a card, while viewing a board click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Open Card" option:
You can also click any of the icons at the bottom left of the card:
On an open card you can edit all of the card fields including: title, status, hours, due date, labels, and notes. Enter the desired values into the fields and be sure to click the save button. If you do not click the save button, your updates will not be saved:
Watching a Card
When you have a card open, you can watch the card by clicking the watch button on the top right of the details section. Watching a card will send you email notifications when someone other than yourself edits the card or adds attachments or comments:
To unwatch a card, click the "Watch Card" button and make sure it no longer has a checkmark:
Adding Attachments
To add an attachment, within an open card click the choose files button and select up to 5 files at a time. These will automatically be uploaded. Larger files make take a moment to upload:
Opening Attachments
To open an attachment, within an open card click the preview (this only applies to images) or the title of the attachment and it will open in another tab:
Deleting Attachments
*Alert: You must be the one who uploaded the attachment to delete it.
To delete an attachment, click on the trash bin icon on the bottom right of the attachment:
You will be prompted to confirm you want to delete the attachment. Click "OK":
Adding Comments
To add a comment, within an open card enter the comment in the comment field and click the save button. This will add the comment without refreshing the page:
Deleting Comments
*Alert: You must be the one who uploaded the attachment to delete it.
To delete a comment, click on the trash bin icon on the bottom right of the comment:
You will be prompted to confirm you want to delete the comment. Click "OK":
Marking the Card Complete
To mark a card as complete, from the board view click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and click the "Mark Complete" option:
The card will disappear from this list if the "Show complete/archived" option is not selected. If the "Show complete/archived" option is selected, the card will turn gray.
Deleting the Card
*Warning: This permanently removes the card.
To delete a card, from the board view click the edit icon in the bottom right corner of the card and select the "Delete" option:
The card will disappear from this list and will not show "Show complete/archived" option is selected.
Searching Cards
To search cards, while viewing a board enter the term into the search field and click the search icon or hit enter on your keyboard. This searches the title, text, and the status of a card:
Show Complete/Archived
While viewing a board, the "Show complete/archive" option shows all archived lists and completed cards as grayed out items:
If you do not want to see the complete/archive items, click the "Hide complete/archived" option:
Unarchiving Lists
To unarchive a list, while viewing a board click the unarchive icon on the right of the archived list:
Marking Cards Incomplete
To mark a card as incomplete, while viewing a board click the edit icon then click the mark incomplete option:
